Retained samples and traceability
A retained sample of every batch is kept in the laboratory and the batch number is printed on every pack. If you order for a repair years later, the full file of that batch is still available.
Quality control and laboratory
In a cellulose coating, quality means repeatability: a project applied today and a repair made years later must reach the same colour and texture. The Celomix quality-control department guarantees this in three stages, recording the result of every test.
Three stages of control
No material enters production without laboratory approval. Every delivery of cellulose fibre and silk, mica flakes, pigments and binder is compared with the supplier's reference sample.
Every colour code has a fixed formula, made up by the scale, not by eye. Samples are taken throughout mixing so that the fibres and flakes are spread evenly through the whole batch.
Before packing, a trial sample from every batch is applied on a standard surface to measure how the product really behaves on the wall.
What backs our quality
A retained sample of every batch is kept in the laboratory and the batch number is printed on every pack. If you order for a repair years later, the full file of that batch is still available.
The colour of each code on the walls in our catalogue photos has been measured against the real sample of that code, and the difference (ΔE) is on average below 2, which the eye cannot see.
The Parsianik laboratory in Isfahan tested Celomix to ISO and ASTM standards: thermally insulating, sound-absorbing at higher frequencies, fire-retardant, non-toxic, light fastness grade 5 and more than 500 abrasion cycles.
The batch file
To repair or extend a wall, give the batch number to customer service. We will send you the same formula and, if it is in stock, the same batch, so the line between old and new work cannot be seen.
A sample label; send us the real design of the bag label.
